Firefighters carry the body of
a fire victim in the area of shikumen houses in Shanghai,
February 20, 2006. An 18-year-old man was killed by a fire brokeout Monday
afternoon at the Shanghai Shikumen residential area. Shikumen houses,
known as the 'living fossils' of the city, is a special old form of
building found only in Shanghai combining Western architectural techniques
and traditional Chinese
