Tanbo art, or rice paddy art, is an art form originating in Japan where people plant rice of various types and colors to create a giant picture in a paddy field.

A total of 17 images were displayed in the rice fields covering an area of 200 mu (13.33 hectares) in Shenyang, capital city of Northeast China’s Liaoning province.
