Sculptures in garden

Art+ Shanghai Gallery will open its new space with the first solo exhibition of Huang Zhiyang. Titled A Thousand Plateaus, the exhibition includes a site-specific five-meter long miniature Chinese garden, displaying his new marble sculptures. The installation will rest amid a labyrinth of ink paintings draped from the ceiling. It examines the origin, structure and evolution of the artist's rich repertoire of new ink paintings and marble sculptures in an epic gallery installation.
