Experiencing Chinese culture through Han Meilin's artwork

Celebrated Chinese artist Han Meilin's exhibition World of Meilin at the National Museum of China is drawing to an end this weekend. It showcases Han's efforts in spreading the aesthetics of Chinese folk art.

Han is well-known as the chief designer of Fuwa, the good-luck mascots for the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. Through his six-decade career, Han has always turned to Chinese cultural traditions for inspiration.
