Over 360 films are due be screened at this year's Beijing International Film Festival.
Marco Mueller, the former artistic director of the Rome, Venice and Locarno Film Festivals has been appointed as the chief adviser to the Beijing International Film Festival this year.
French director Luc Besson has been named this year's president of the international jury.
The jury will vote on 10 different "Tiantan" awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
This year's festival runs from April 16th to 23rd.
