AIIB prospective founders' list increases to 57 nations

Fifty-seven countries from five continents have been finalized as prospective founding members of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the Finance Ministry said on Wednesday.

The latest group of prospective founders announced by the ministry are Sweden, Israel, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Iceland, Portugal and Poland.

Of the 57 countries, 34 are in Asia, 18 in Europe, two in Oceania, two in Africa and one in Latin America.
