UK-China IP relations have 'enormous potential' to grow
China and the United Kingdom will expand intellectual property cooperation by continuing to build mature, steady and mutually beneficial relations, said a senior official from the State Intellectual Property Office at a UK-China IP symposium on Monday.
"The two major world economies share a broad range of common interests and have enormous potential for bilateral ties to develop," said SIPO Commissioner Shen Changyu.
The Patent Prosecution Highway program, an initiative that started in July to provide accelerated approval procedures by sharing information between patent offices, will help increase efficiency and bring convenience to patent users and industries, he said.
