TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group signed international transformer deals worth more than $215 million, in the first half of 2010, a nearly 10-fold increase year-on-year. In addition, the company signed contracts worth more than $100 billion for transmission equipment to outfit eight Indian power stations .It was the first time Indian power companies bought this type of equipment from China. It was also a first for the company to beat out global giants such as Siemens and ABB in international engineering bidding process. Photo Provided to China Daily
