Greece rejuvenated their World Cup campaign in South Africa with a 2-1 win over 10-man Nigeria in Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein, on Thursday night.

Vasilis Torosidis pounced on a goalkeeping error by Vincent Enyeama in the 71st minute to resuscitate the team's hopes of advancing to the round of 16.

Nigeria got on the scoresheet in the 16th minute when Kalu Uche's long-range freekick evaded everybody.
