Japan's most influential press announced yesterday 10 remarkable news items in China-Japan relations of 2009, with frequent meetings between the two countries' leaders coming at the top.

The 10 events selected by Kyodo News cover political, economic, social, historical issues as well as public opinions, which Chinese experts said demonstrates the consensus in Japan that highly evaluates the relationship with China.
