Iran faces new deadline

The highly anticipated multilateral talks over Iran's disputed nuclear program will probably fall into a deadlock, Chinese experts said yesterday, suggesting it is just a formality before the UN Security Council approves the sanctions against Iran by the end of this year. Russia, the United States and Britain all indicated yesterday it was time to consider additional sanctions.
