Sam's Tailor, the famous shop in Tsim Sha Tsui's Burlington Arcade, was opened by Manu Melwani's father Sam in 1957. Manu now runs it together with his own son, Roshan. The shop is a magnet for the famous, including US Presidents Bush Sr and Clinton, as well as Rod Stewart and Sigourney Weaver.

"I'M VERY HAPPY WITH HONG KONG. I HAVE BEEN AWARDED THE MEDAL OF HONOUR, I HAVE 57 WORKERS, MY OWN WORKSHOP, A BIG WAREHOUSE-BUT I'M STILL A CUTTER; I'M STILL A STITCHER."
