Trauma of bacteria attack still felt today

Wang Jinhua places a mousetrap in his home. The 80-year-old villager in Chongshan saw his mother and brother killed in the plague spread by the Japanese army in 1942. Wang has been devoted to exposing this part of history to more people and help victims file lawsuits against the Japanese government. Wang said the local government attaches great importance to plague prevention and control. The residents are rewarded 10 yuan ($1.5) for each mouse they catch.
