China's Ministry of National Defense (MOD) new spokesman, Colonel Ren Guoqiang held his first press conference in Beijing on Thursday.
Ren, 42, who is deputy director of the Information Affairs Bureau of the MOD, has become the ministry's sixth spokesman since the MOD introduced the spokesperson system in May 2008.
