Chinese President Xi Jinping is making the anti-corruption campaign his No 1 mission since he became the general secretary of the ruling Communist Party, CNN reported.
He has warned on several occasions of the harm corruption could bring to the Party and the country, requiring his fellow leaders to learn from the experience of other countries where "corruption has played a big role in conflicts", the report said.
Xi also urged officials to "build a clean government, show self-discipline and restrain their relatives and associates."
