An armless driver surnamed Guo was caught by police for driving without a license.

At around 1:00 pm Wednesday on a highway in Hubei province's Xiantao city, a black sedan was trying to evade the police by shifting lanes.

A policeman stopped the car in question and saw the driver swiftly pull the car over with his feet.

Guo admitted owning the car and said that he'd been driving it for years, but didn't have a driver's license.

Guo, a 45-year-old fruit vendor, lost his arms in a mishap when he was seven. But this did not prevent him from doing many things, including steering the wheel with his feet. He even managed to support his elderly parents and send his son to college.

Guo was ticketed for 500 yuan ($80). In China, driving without a license usually entails a 2,000 yuan ($322) fine and at most 15 days in custody.
