Arrest of fake 'movie director' approved

The people's procuratorate in Haidian district, Beijing, has approved the arrest of an imposter who tricked three women into giving him money and sex, the Beijing Times reported on Wednesday.

The imposter surnamed Chen claimed he was directing a movie named The Rich's Beijing and was seeking a supporting actress via the Internet.

Chen forged an actor's contract and a film crew's stamp and swindled three women out of around 10,000 yuan ($1,632) in total. He also tricked them into having sex with him in exchange for signing the contract.
