A woman who was helped by a bus driver after she fell on the street on a snowy day want to find the driver to thank him, Xi'an Evening News reported on Tuesday.
The woman, surnamed Hui, 65, of Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province, was traveling alone by bus to see her 90-year-old mother on Feb 5. She slipped and fell on the snowy road when she got off the bus.
The driver of the No 33 bus stopped the vehicle to help the woman and phoned for an ambulance.
The driver also took off his outerwear to cover the woman and waited some 40 minutes for the ambulance to arrive.
The ambulance took the woman to a hospital, where doctors found she had fractured her spine.
At present, the woman is recovering at home and she asked local media on Feb 17 to find the bus driver so she can express her gratitude to him.
