 Large Medium  SmallPeople's Hospital of Tianquan county delivered its 11th baby on Sunday after the earthquake severely hit the region, Yangtze Evening News reports.
Liu Tian, 27, and his wife escaped from a room during the earthquake and his pregnant wife was sent to the hospital.
Dai Qiong, chief nurse of the hospital's department of gynecology and obstetrics, said the baby was born in a tent one week ahead of the expected delivery date.
The hospital, which was jolted by the quake, normally delivers two or three births in one month.
