Tens of thousands of mynahs have been gathering on a sweep of lawn at dusk daily in Zhuzhen, in Nanjing's Luhe district, lately.
Local villagers said the birds fly to the lawn near a reservoir around 4 pm. They pay no attention to vehicles passing by, and most of them fly away after half an hour.
Villagers said the environment around the reservoir has been improved greatly in recent years, which might be the reason why so many mynahs choose to congregate nearby.
