Finnish President starts China visit

BEIJING - Finnish President Tarja Halonen arrived here Tuesday morning, kicking off her six-day visit to China.
During her stay in Beijing, Chinese President Hu Jintao and Vice Premier Li Keqiang will meet with her respectively. She will also attend the opening ceremony of a workshop on clean technology and a reception celebrating the 60th anniversary of China-Finland ties.
Besides Beijing, she will also visit Shanghai and attend the national pavilion day of Finland at the Shanghai World Expo.
