Combining process expertise, information technology and analytical capabilities with operational insight and experience in diverse industries, it provides a wide range of services using its global delivery platform.

It partners with clients to improve how they do business by improving processes through Six Sigma and the five principles of the system known as Lean.

"As a service provider, we strive to be a seamless extension of our clients' operations," said a Genpact statement.

The company manages complex processes in multiple geographic regions, delivering its services from a global network of more than 35 operations centers in 13 countries. Its global centers are located in India, China, Guatemala, Hungary, Mexico, Morocco, the Philippines, Poland, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, South Africa and the United States.

Genpact China has been an industry pioneer opening centers in several cities around the world and was one of the first companies in the industry to set up operations in Dalian, in 2000.

The Dalian center is a world-class remote processing operation that services clients in Japan, Korea, China and Southeast Asia.

Located in a modern industrial park, it has state-of-the-art IT infrastructure with full-load backup generators and remote business-continuity servicing. Its Changchun center began operations in August 2006.

In 2006, Genpact began delivering software services from its operations center in Shanghai.

The government has honored Genpact China with a number of prestigious awards, the most recent for "Best Business Model" at the 2008 International Forum of China Outsourcing Development & Cooperation.

Genpact was also named Best Information Technology Outsourcing Service Provider and Best ITMS Provider in the 2009 Chinese Enterprise Informatization Top 500 Conference held in Beijing that brought central and local government officials together with members of the media and CEOs of the country's leading IT companies, known as the iPower500.

Since 2003 these awards have recognized companies for their ability to provide clear, concise and positive results to clients in the Chinese market.

Genpact China continues to contribute to the cities where it operates by providing employment opportunities and supporting local community initiatives as a responsible corporate citizen. The company has been awarded the Dalian City Top 10 Employer of Choice Award two years in a row for its efforts in attracting, retaining and nurturing talent.

"Most importantly, Genpact is a meritocracy where every idea, every employee counts," said the company.
