AUSTRALIA: Prime Minister Kevin Rudd had hoped to take his carbon-trade scheme to Copenhagen, but parliament rejected laws to set up the scheme this week. Rudd is to play a key negotiating role in the talks.

BANGLADESH: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

BRAZIL: President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva is due in Copenhagen Dec 16-18.

BRITAIN: Prime Minister Gordon Brown was one of the first world leaders to commit to attending the Copenhagen talks.

CANADA: Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

CHINA: Premier Wen Jiabao.

ETHIOPIA: Prime Minister Meles Zenawi will head the African delegation. Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam and Seychelles President James Michel will also attend.
