Japan "regrets" that a scheduled trilateral meeting Saturday morning between foreign ministers of Japan, China and South Korea was cancelled since Thailand's anti-government demonstrators blocked traffic between the hotel the Japanese Foreign minister is staying and the venue of meeting -- Dusit Thani Hotel where the Chinese and Foreign delegations stay.

The blockage has caused delay of the ASEAN-China summit, scheduled to open Saturday morning.

The ministers discussed the issue of the latest move of DPRK's rocket launch and progress of financial cooperation under the ASEAN Plus Three framework, said Kodama.
