50 Tanzanian students invited to visit China

Updated: 2009-02-16 20:13 Dar es Salaam: Visiting Chinese President Hu Jintao Monday invited 50 students from Tanzania to visit China this year. He extend the invitation when speaking to an audience of more than 1,200 college students, professionals and people from industry, business and other sectors at the welcoming rally in Tanzania's capital. China want to forge closer links among young people, women, non-governmental groups, media organizations and academic institutions between China and African countries, said Hu, who served for years as the top youth leader in China He offered his support for African Union's participation in the G20 financial summit. China "wishes to take part in the formulation of international economic, financial and trade rules and build a more equitable and reasonable international economic order together with African countries," he said. |
