Liang said teachers offered psychological counseling to all the classes in the school yesterday.

"The school term will be over in one month, more than one month late than before to make up for the time lost to the earthquake," she told China Daily.

According to Liu, construction of the schools damaged in the earthquake is being planned. Their construction is expected to be finished on September 1 next year, he said.
