China, Mongolia pledge for closer bilateral ties

BEIJING -- Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and his Mongolian counterpart Sanjaasuren Oyun on Tuesday agreed to work together to push forward the good-neighborly and mutually trusted partnership between the two countries.
At their meeting here on Tuesday, the two foreign ministers positively commented the China-Mongolia relations and agreed to make joint efforts to increase high-level exchanges and strengthen economic cooperation, especially in resources development and infrastructure construction, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The two countries will also expand personnel exchanges and keep coordination in dealing with international and regional affairs so as to push forward the good-neighborly and mutually trusted partnership.
The Mongolian foreign minister is here on an official visit as guest of his Chinese counterpart.
