Goalmouth heroics from teenage keeper Wang Dalei gave China's national U-23 team a 1-0 victory over Cameroon in a friendly in Guangzhou on Sunday and a successful debut for Olympic team coach Ratomir Dujkovic.

Zheng Zhi, one of three over-age players in China's provisional Olympic squad, scored the winner on 34 minutes, earning a spot kick after being brought down in the penalty area.

Wang, 17, linked to a transfer to Dutch league champions PSV Eindhoven, bolstered his European credentials with a clean sheet and several spectacular saves in the second half.

Dujkovic rated his own performance "100 percent because we won" -- despite a stuttering second half in which Cameroon lifted and peppered the Chinese goal, the Beijing News reported.

"The whole team played well," Dujkovic told the paper. "The players got a bit tired in the second half, so it affected their game," he said.

Dujkovic will take the national U-23 team to next month's Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
