Nov 16, 1952: CPC Central Committee decides to set up State Planning Commission

From November 16 - December 1, 1949, the Trade Unions of Asia and Australia Conference was held in Beijing. This was the first international conference hosted by the new China.

On November 16, 1952 ,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to set up the State Planning Commission.

On November 16, 1970, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China gave a directive on Chen Boda's anti-party problem.
