As mom, Jolie tries to play fair

As mom, Jolie tries to play fair Angelina Jolie says she has been trying to make sure she gives her two older children plenty of attention now that she and Brad Pitt also have a newborn at home.

Jolie, 31, gave birth to daughter Shiloh Nouvel in Namibia last month. Her 16-month-old sister, Zahara, was adopted from Ethiopia, and four-year-old brother, Maddox, from Cambodia.

"It's different to say that you choose to bring a child into existence," Jolie told Forbes magazine.

"I didn't choose to bring my two adopted children to life. Strangely enough, I was concerned about (this difference), and I have been making a point recently to give my adopted children more attention. But I feel now I love them equally."

Both Maddox and Zahara's surnames have been legally changed to Jolie-Pitt after Pitt, 42, announced his intention to adopt the children.

Jolie told Forbes magazine she was "very lucky that I am not a single parent".

"I can't imagine how difficult it is for mothers who have to go back to work so soon," she said.

Jolie tied for 35th place on the magazine's annual Celebrity 100 Power List with Pitt's ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. The less-than-scientific rankings track celebrities based on earnings and buzz.
