Chinese shares close mixed Friday

BEIJING -- Chinese shares closed mixed Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.06 percent, or 1.16 points, to end at 2,098.38.

The Shenzhen Component Index shed 0.15 percent, or 12.01 points, to finish at 8,202.48.
