SHANGHAI - Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences Wednesday announced the release of an online database of Belt and Road information.
The website www.silkroadinfo.org.cn, offers free of charge access to writing, data analysis and research findings about 65 Belt and Road countries, said Wang Zhen, deputy chief of the academy.
The database was co-developed by the academy and China Center for International Economic Exchanges, an association founded to promote research and exchange and provide consulting services.
The information includes books on the countries and markets, theses, publications, research reports and commentaries, and data analysis has been provided on the industries, investment, trade and finance of these countries.
Research findings by domestic and overseas think tanks and companies will also be released on the website to provide reference for governments, enterprises, and think tank institutions.
"The database will provide big data support to deepen the research on the Belt and Road construction," said Wang.
