The acquisition of headhunter Person Co will help joint venture FESCO Adecco's recruitment services and its development, said Wang Yie, chairman of Beijing Foreign Enterprise Service Group Co, or FESCO Group.
Wang made the remarks on Tuesday in Beijing at a signing ceremony of the acquisition, which is expected to be wrapped up in August. FESCO Adecco is a joint venture between FESCO and Switzerland-headquartered Adecco to provide human resources services.
"Person Co has been in the headhunting industry for more than two decades and has an excellent reputation among clients," Wang said, adding that the three will help FESCO Adecco create more value.
Rolf Dorig, chairman of Adecco, said the Adecco Group has more than 5,100 branches in more than 60 countries and regions and that China is its fastest-growing market.
"I believe Person will add new momentum and vitality to our business in China," he said.
"We value highly the brand advantage of FESCO Adecco and believe it is highly capable of boosting Person's development," said Peng Yanjie, general manager of Person.
Person focuses on consumer electronics, manufacturing, energy, environmental protection, finance and the information technology sectors. It provides human resources services including recruiting, outsourcing, consultancy and training.
