HANGZHOU -- The GDP of Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, grew by 10.2 percent to one trillion yuan ($150 billion) in 2015, according to official statistics released on Monday.
Hangzhou is home to a thriving private sector and the headquarters of e-commerce company Alibaba.
GDP per capita in Hangzhou reached $18,025 last year, according to the municipal bureau of statistics.
Other Chinese cities in the one-trillion-yuan club include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and six others.
