Modern logistics base with the Midea Group

A signing ceremony for the establishment of a modern logistics base was held by the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone (Toutunhe District) and the Annto Logistics in Nanjing on June 25, 2012. Wei Yi, secretary of the Party committee of the zone, delivered a speech at the signing ceremony.

Annto Logistics plans to invest in the building of the Urumqi modern logistics base with a total of 430 million yuan ($67.55 million). The modern comprehensive logistics base will consist of a home appliances production and assembly manufactory, a logistics information trading center, an online shopping logistics center, a distribution center and a service and management center. When the base is completed, it will realize revenue of 670 million yuan, paying a tax of 30 million yuan.

Annto Logistics is a subsidiary of the Midea Group which ranks 70th among the top 500 Chinese enterprises. It is one of the major players in domestic 3PL services for China's mainland. It ranked first in storage logistics and in the cold chain logistics of China.
