Infiniti QX56
As the flagship SUV for Infiniti, the all-new 2011 QX56 makes its first public appearance in Asia at the Beijing auto show.
The full-size luxury model is outfitted with a 5.6-liter eight-cylinder engine, Infiniti's largest, which generates maximum power of 324kW/5800rpm and top torque of 555Nm/4000rpm. It comes with a new seven-speed automatic transmission and all-mode four-wheel drive system.
The model is 5,290mm long, 2,030mm wide and 1,935mm high. It has a 3,075mm wheelbase.
KIA SL
The model making its China debut at the Beijing motor show is an all-new crossover to replace Kia's current-generation Sportage.
Made at the South Korean carmaker's joint venture in China, it will begin production in October this year. With a new bodyshell, new engines and fresh, bold styling that introduces a new kind of dynamic aesthetic, the model is an urban-friendly crossover for today's families - consuming less fuel and emitting less CO2.
The 4.4m-long new model is sleeker and lighter than its predecessor with an even lower aerodynamic drag coefficient and a significant weight loss of 91kg, all to enhance fuel economy and refinement. It will have two engine options: 2.0 and 2.4-liter CVVT.
