FRANKFURT - Volkswagen's premium brand Audi broke through the 100,000 vehicle sales mark in China during the first half of this year and expects to match this result in the remaining months of 2010.
The company said in a statement on Friday that deliveries to customers rose 64 percent to 109,887 vehicles in the six months to June.
"2010 will be a record year for Audi in China. We will deliver 200,000 vehicles to customers," sales chief Peter Schwarzenbauer said in a statment.
