ChiNext stock index down on Friday

The ChiNext Index, China's start-up board for small and medium-sized enterprises to raise capital, dived Friday following two days of rebound.

Twenty-five out of 28 stocks slumped after rebound on Thursday and Wednesday. A total of 20 stocks dived on Tuesday and 25 stocks went down on Monday.

The board, based in Shenzhen and started trading on Oct 30, 2009, is tailored to the needs of enterprises engaged in independent innovation and other enterprises with great growth potential.
