Hidili buys in warehousing and transportation assets

Hidili Industry International Development Co, southwestern China's largest producer of coking coal, agreed to pay 241.5 million yuan ($35.5 million) for coking coal processing, warehousing and transportation assets.

Hidili will buy 70 percent of Panxian Panxin Coking Co and Panxian Panyi Coal Washing Co, and 37 percent of Panxian Panying Logistic Distribution Co and Panxian Panshi Logistic Distribution Co, the company said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange on July 15.

Hidili will pay 30 yuan for each ton of coal and coke carried on railroads by Panshi and Panying through to 2010. The two companies pledged to ship at least 900,000 metric tons of the products annually for 30 years.
