China Eastern unveils service hotline

China Eastern Airlines introduced its service hotline on July 1. The "95808" hotline is now open for four Chinese cities - Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an and Kunming, allowing its customers in the areas to enjoy localized services.

The hotline is expected to reach 20 cities at the end of this year and all Chinese cities that China Eastern flights covers before the Olympic Games next year, according to officials from China Eastern.

The 24-hour hotline offers four languages - Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean, and deals with services as: flight information, booking and changing tickets; services for China Eastern club members; booking of hotel or restaurant; providing tailored services for businesspersons and tourists; and suggestions and complaints center.
