State Council clears China Telecom, China Shenhua A-shares issuesBy ()
Updated: 2007-06-21 11:14 China Telecom Corp Ltd and China Shenhua Energy Co Ltd have become the latest Hong Kong-listed firms to have their A-share issue plans cleared by the State Council. PetroChina said it is applying to mainland regulators to sell up to four billion A-shares through an initial public offering in Shanghai, while last week, China Construction Bank said it planned to issue up to nine billion A-shares for listing on the Shanghai stock exchange.
