Shenzhen Development Bank (SDB) was founded in 1987, marking a major breakthrough in China's financial system reform and an important milestone of China¡¯s capital market development.

By 2005, SDB developed into a nation-wide stock-holding commercial bank with over 230
subsidiaries in China¡¯s 18 major cities.

In 2004, SDB was joined by international strategic investors and advanced international
management expertise was successfully introduced into the bank.
