The aggregated turnover of China's logistics industry totaled 26.8 trillion yuan (3.3 trillion US dollars) in the first half of this year, up 15.3 percent year-on-year, says the China Logistics Alliance Network.
The growth rate was one percentage point slower than that in the same period of last year, says the non-governmental organization in its latest report.
In a break-down, the sector's turnover of industrial commodities came to 23.4 trillion yuan (2.9 US dollars), up 15.6 percent year-on-year.
Its turnover of imported goods climbed 14.2 percent year-on-year to 2.95 trillion yuan.
The turnover involving farm produce stood at 461.5 billion yuan, representing a rise of 5.1 percent year-on-year.
Rising energy prices on global market have forced Chinese firms to pay more for logistics, the report says.
