The 84 newly-built small green amusement parks and 23 small pools in Urumqi have become new places of leisure for citizens. Among these green projects, a one-kilometer-long section of Yingbin Road in the High-tech Industry Zones has been perfected with plantings and new traffic systems. The sidewalk of the section is set in a tree avenue and surfaced with red asphalt for pedestrians to avoid contact with car exhausts. The lane also has seating and lighting laid out and has become the first green lane in Xinjiang.
