The new project, which started operation in July, aims to be eco-friendly. Its emission concentration is less than 50 mg per cu m, advancing to EU standards, and 98 percent of water can be reused in the producing process.

Energy consumption lowered to 384 kgce/ton, meaning the steel mill can save three million tons of standard coal each year.

The plant is capable of producing three million tons of steel and 2.55 million tons of raw steel materials. It is expected to realize sales of 50 billion yuan per year.
