Low-carbon lifestyle contest

China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) has launched a contest to find creative ideas and solutions to reduce carbon emissions in daily lives. The event, called My Creative Ideas/Solutions for a Low-carbon Life, is open to any interested individuals and organizations.

Participants can upload their entries - ideas presented in the form of words and models, or in-practice solutions presented in the form of photos or three-dimensional models - onto the website of www.cast.org.cn or e-mail them to wddtsh@163.com from today until July 10.

The organizer will announce the 70 award winners on Aug 2. The winning participants will then have to chance to present their works to the public in Beijing on Sept 18 when the country celebrates its National Popular Science Day.
