Trust company loans will be included in the basic database of financial credit information, the People's Bank of China said on Wednesday.
The statement, posted on the website of the central bank, urged trust companies already included in the database to provide timely, accurate and complete information about their loans.
It also demanded that companies that have not included the data must do so as soon as possible.
The fast-growing trust sector is the largest sector of China's non-bank lending activities.
Earlier central bank data showed the trust sector extended 107.4 billion yuan ($17.5 billion) of new loans in July, an increase of 69 billion yuan over the same period in 2012.
In addition, the central bank is also working on plans to include information about all entrusted loans, already a part of the total social financing aggregate, in the credit database, according to the statement.
