China's urban unemployment rate at 4.1% by 2010

BEIJING - China's urban unemployment rate stood at 4.1 percent by the end of last year, with 9.08 million people being registered to be unemployed, an official with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security said Tuesday.

The country had created 11.68 millon jobs in 2010, Yin Chengji, spokesman of the ministry told a press conference.
