Fourteen teams in Microsoft Accelerator, Beijing, shared their innovative products and services on Jan 12, the company's 8th Demo Day.
Gago Group, an enterprise focusing on constructing intelligent agriculture cloud platforms, has cooperated with governments to help farm laborers through the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) program.
Moreover, Qingyuan Technology, focused on mixed cloud platform innovation, also signed contracts with business divisions of middle and small-sized enterprises and government departments in China with the help of Microsoft Accelerator.
Shadow Creator, devoted to developing VR glasses, participated in the 2016 China Maker Competition under the recommendation of Microsoft Accelerator, and was nominated as one of the Top Ten China Makers.
QT Technology, a company focusing on intelligent parking and ZionChina, helps supervise and adjust people's diets through artificial intelligence, and also introduced their services to the public.
Luo Bin, CEO of Microsoft Accelerator, said on the Demo Day that the innovation and entrepreneurship surge is just like the Chinese economy: following a swelling period, it has now entered a detail-oriented age.
"In the past four years, Microsoft Accelerator has led innovation in demand research, products upgrading, innovative marketing and transaction costs, which helped to improve innovative efficiency in the entire industry," Luo noted.
To date, 140 startups have successfully entered into the market through the support of Microsoft Accelerator, and more than 500 million people and about one million enterprises have started to use products and services manufactured and offered by these firms.
Meanwhile, more than 93 percent of these startups have received a new round of financing, with a total market assessment of 40 billion yuan.
Wang Lei, CTO of Microsoft Accelerator, said big data and cloud technology decide the development of enterprises. Microsoft Accelerator is intended to help more startups gain competitiveness, widen their research fields and help them achieve more cooperation with other companies.
