China's first intangible cultural heritage O2O interactive experience center opened in the Qianmen area in Beijing on Saturday.

The two-level center occupies nearly 2,000 square meters and combines an ICH showcase, visitor experience and modern commerce. The center is divided into areas for performance, weaving, dyeing, and embroidery, stone carving, cultural creative products, the "scholar's four jewels", pottery making and metal smelting, as well as a tea and wine tasting area.

The center tries to present traditional crafts in a modern way, and provides experience, training and custom-tailored services. National-level ICH masters will come occasionally to showcase esoteric artistry, and visitors can talk to masters face to face, or even create unique cultural products with them.

The center also will have a collection of more than 800 national-level ICH masters' creative artworks that visitors can purchase.
